Persis Gruben is storytelling about when she lived a nomadic lifestyle with her parents then later moving to Tuktoyaktuk, of travelling with dogteams and use of dogs. Persis also shares stories of when they first got skidoos, of hunting and trapping stories with her husband and their friend John Kikoak, of some Inuvialuit families living at Dewline, of traditional clothing, of traditional food, and of their travels at Christmas time. She also speaks about the problems she sees due to everyone living in one community, about her frustrations with kids lacking work ethics and life skills today. She then shares her ideas on how things could have been done differently that would have helped with kid’s learning and with how to live, when first building houses in Tuktoyaktuk, and closes with the following: Our land is no more good. It's destroyed or wrecked. Part 10. To be continued.

Description
An account of the resource
Frank Cockney is storytelling of when he was working for the oil company in Tuktoyaktuk, of his holidays, and of when he’d work on first winter road construction in 1967, of working with Caucasion people, of when he began working for the land claim in 1973, of he and Charlie Gruben’s frustations when the oil company staff who would use their Inuvialuit traditional knowledge, take credit for the work that they did then get themselves promoted with pay increases and not crediting them for their work and knowledge that they did, and compares the Caucasian culture and way of doing things to the Inuvialuit traditional way of life and culture and the way the Inuvialuit people do things, of he and his family combining their tradititional way of life with the new way of life of employment with wages, including when he tried his hand at running a business for a while. Frank then describes the early work in 1959/1960 with day and night work, ofthe numerous trucks hauling and heavy equipment operators working around Yaa Yaa Lakes, and says he’s speaking for the future generations to hear with helpful advice with his personal life stories and teachings.
