                <text>William Kuptana is storytelling of when he started remembering when he was a young boy of how they lived long ago prior to Caucasians arriving, of when they lived a totally traditional lifestyle and describes their hunting and fishing methods prior to fishnets, their hunting and fishing tools that were made, the challenges and hardships of hunting caribou wtih bows and arrows prior to the modern guns, of homeade canoes, of the women’s and men’s roles in hunting caribou, of the traditional shelters and clothing made, of the uses of the animals for clothing, blankets, heat, shelter, and food for themselves and for the dogs, of the traditional food prepared and dried and also used when hiking, and ends with a story about a very good hunter named Kullaq.  </text>

                <text>William Kuptana is storytelling about Kullaq, the very good polar bear hunter, of the first people, the Kangiryuarmiut, that started going to Ikaahuk (Sachs Harbour), Banksland, of the (Eastern Inuit) Qangmalit old timers who called it "Ikaahuk" (Sachs Harbour) prior to arrival of the Europeans who named it Banksland, of the how the hunters hunted muskoxen long ago with bows and arrows and spears, of making drymeat with it, of making a fire by rubbing flint rocks together to create a spark and using Innangniq/arctic cotton and cooking their meals over the fire, of the suffering from cold sometime if their was no seal oil for their qulliq (lamp) that he describes what is needed to light and use, of food shortage until they can get some, of food caches, seal oil storage, animal uses, or clothing shortage that he witnessed when he was growing up, of surviving during the tough way of life, of caribou hunting for clothing and making dry meat, and of the traditional food and drinks.</text>
